PRECISION OTA TESTING. ENGINEERED FOR NEXT- GENERATION WIRELESS SYSTEMS.

An 11.5 m compact antenna test range in Bengaluru for radiated conformance of 5G base stations and precise antenna measurement, without reliance on outdoor ranges.

ALVEX CATR · Bengaluru
Quiet zone 1.5 m
1.49 GHz to 24 GHz
5G FR1 and FR3
ISO/IEC 17025:2017

OVERVIEW

ALVEX is the world’s first independent laboratory to operate this CATR setup: an ISO/IEC 17025:2017-accredited FR1 and FR3 radiated conformance range with a Keysight measurement system and PROPSIM channel emulation under one roof.

The CATR produces a uniform 1.5 m quiet zone from 1.49 GHz to 24 GHz inside an 11.5 m × 5.5 m × 5.5 m shielded chamber, using a 3.3 m offset reflector and an automated azimuth-over-elevation positioner rated to 50 kg, with a Keysight measurement system.

Radiated conformance covers base station types 1-O and 1-H, AAS OTA and AAS hybrid to 3GPP TS 38.141-2: Chapter 6 transmitter, Chapter 7 receiver and Chapter 8 performance. The range also supports massive MIMO radios, phased arrays, radar and satcom antennas. Finding performance gaps here, before deployment, saves design iterations and field failures.
ALVEX Core automation keeps campaigns repeatable and results traceable.
